When I’m looking at a gemstone, of course I notice the things you notice first — the colour, the sparkle, the way it catches the light and that instant feeling of “Oh, I love that.”

But my eye naturally goes further.

As a qualified gemmologist and jeweller, I’m also looking at the things that may not be obvious at first glance. I’m considering the gemstone as a whole, asking the questions that come from my training and experience, and thinking about whether this is a stone I would genuinely feel confident recommending to you.

I completed my gemmological training with the Gemmological Association of Australia and am proud to be a Fellow of the GAA. I’ve also completed further training in Diamonds and Coloured Gemstones with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

But qualifications are only part of what I bring to your search.

Over the years, I’ve developed my eye as a jeweller, built relationships with gemstone suppliers and created a network I can call upon when I’m searching for something special.

And perhaps most importantly, I’ll know who I’m searching for.
